All DMR radios from Hytera are capable of operating in dual mode, meaning the radios have the flexibility to operate as conventional DMR radio (DMR Tier II), and also support operation in analog mode. In this way existing analog two-way radio systems can be smoothly migrated into the digital age. In addition, many radios support operation in the DMR trunked radio mode and can also be used in XPT radio systems from Hytera.
